Bosses will have their difficulty increased and grant better loot.You will lose all your tames and items in their inventories (Be sure to take all your items from them before you leave the cave).Your character will have a higher level cap.If you survive you will be allowed to ascend, which has a few effects: Normally going through an Ascension requires that you fight your way through the Tek Cave in the Island's volcano when level 60, 80, or 100 (depending on your Ascension progress), which is a task in itself.
